Dangote Refinery Set For Petrol Loading As 300 Trucks Arrive

In a significant development, a staggering 300 trucks belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) have arrived at the Dangote refinery. This massive fleet is preparing for the scheduled petrol loading tomorrow, Sunday.

NNPC spokesperson, Olufemi Soneye, confirmed the arrival of the trucks in a video statement, noting that by the end of the day, at least 300 trucks will be stationed at the refinery’s fuel loading gantry.

This large-scale deployment of trucks underscores the enormity of the operation and the high expectations surrounding the Dangote refinery’s petrol production.

As the refinery gears up for its maiden petrol loading, the Lagos State Government has assured citizens of free traffic flow, easing concerns about potential gridlocks.

Meanwhile, oil marketers have denied boycotting the Dangote refinery, and the Federal Government has announced that the refinery will sell petrol exclusively to the NNPC.
