The company’s staggering ₦28 billion diesel expenditure has prompted a shift towards renewable energy, aligning with its broader strategy to reduce operational expenses and enhance sustainability. According to Airtel Nigeria’s Director of Corporate Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility, the company’s records reveal a significant spike in diesel costs as of May.
