Basketmouth Reacts To Engagement Rumours With Instagram Post

Celebrated Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth, has ignited a frenzy of speculation with a tantalizing Instagram post hinting at a new chapter in his life.

The post, which features a 13-second video alongside a woman identified as Victoria Eze, has sparked a flurry of engagement rumors, leaving fans and followers eager for more information.

The video, which appears to show Basketmouth and Victoria Eze sharing a tender moment, has set tongues wagging, with many convinced that the woman’s prominent display of an engagement ring is more than just a coincidence.

Basketmouth’s cryptic caption, “About to step into the next chapter of my life,” has only added fuel to the fire, leaving many wondering if he is indeed ready to take the plunge again.

This development comes nearly two years after Basketmouth’s highly publicized split from his ex-wife, Elsie Okpocha, with whom he shares three children.

The couple’s 12-year marriage ended in December 2022, with Basketmouth citing irreconcilable differences.

While some fans have taken to social media to congratulate the comedian on his apparent new union, others have expressed skepticism, suggesting that the post may be a clever promotional stunt.

Fellow comedian, Oke Bakassi, was among those who offered congratulations, posting “Congratulations, bro. We are ready.”

However, not everyone is convinced, with some fans expressing doubts about the authenticity of the post.

As one fan, #lifeofhunpiya, commented, “As the Master of Adverts that you are, I am skeptical about this post.”

Only time will tell if Basketmouth’s enigmatic post is indeed a harbinger of new beginnings or a clever marketing ploy. One thing is certain, however, the comedian’s fans will be eagerly awaiting his next move.
