Bauchi Mourns Commissioner, Driver’s Death In Motor Accident

Bauchi State is in mourning following the untimely death of Commissioner Mr. Ahmad Aliyu Jalam, who was in charge of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs. Mr. Jalam and his driver tragically lost their lives in an automobile accident that occurred on the Misau-Darazo route on Saturday night.

Governor Bala Mohammed has extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved families and the Bauchi community in light of this heartbreaking incident.

The Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, issued a press release stating, “His demise is deeply felt by His Excellency Governor Bala Mohammed, his cabinet colleagues, friends, family, and the countless individuals whose lives he touched during his lifetime.”

Mr. Jalam was revered as a dedicated and committed public official, actively involved in various initiatives aimed at bolstering good governance and strengthening community relations. Acknowledged for his integrity, tireless dedication, and compassion, his passing represents a significant loss to the state’s leadership and the communities he served.

The Governor, along with others, will pay their respects at the funeral prayers for the late commissioner, set to take place on Sunday in his hometown of Jalam, located in the Dambam Local Government Area of Bauchi State. The loss of Mr. Jalam and his driver is a solemn reminder of the fragility of life and the impact one individual can have on the lives of many.
