Bible Society Of Nigeria Holds 5- Day Marathon Bible Reading

In a bid to rekindle the flame of faith and inspire spiritual growth, the Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) has embarked on an ambitious initiative – a 5-day marathon Bible reading program.

This unprecedented event, scheduled to take place across 300 centers in 22 states from today, August 26-30, aims to bring together Christians from diverse backgrounds, denominations, and walks of life.

At the heart of this endeavor is a simple yet profound goal: to encourage individuals to make Bible reading an integral part of their daily lives.

According to Pastor Samuel Sanusi, General Secretary of BSN, “We believe that by immersing ourselves in God’s word, we can find guidance, wisdom, and strength to navigate life’s challenges.”

The program’s organizers hope that this collective effort will not only deepen participants’ understanding of the scriptures but also foster a sense of community and shared purpose.

Venerable Israel Owoyele, Vicar of Christ Anglican Church, eloquently captured the essence of this initiative: “The solutions to our nation’s problems lie within the pages of the Bible. As we come together to read and reflect on God’s word, we may discover new insights and perspectives that can transform our lives and our country.”

By promoting Bible reading as a daily habit, BSN aims to inspire a spiritual awakening that can have far-reaching consequences.

As individuals turn to the scriptures for guidance, they may find the courage to live with greater purpose, compassion, and integrity. In a world grappling with uncertainty and division, this initiative offers a beacon of hope and a reminder of the power of faith to unite and uplift.
