Ohanaeze Ndigbo Mourns As President-General Chief Iwuanyanwu Dies At 82

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide is in mourning as its President-General, Chief Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Iwuanyanwu-Ahaejiagamba Ndigbo, passed away today at the age of 82, after a brief illness. His family announced his demise in a statement, describing him as their patriarch.

Chief Iwuanyanwu was a renowned leader and statesman who dedicated his life to serving his people.

He was the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide and President of Owerri Peoples Assembly. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the entire Igbo community.

The Iwuanyanwu family, of Umuohii Atta, Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State, will announce the burial details later after due consultations.
