Super Eagles Play Draw Against Rwanda

The Super Eagles of Nigeria were left ruing their missed chances as they played out a goalless draw against the Amavubi of Rwanda in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Despite dominating possession and creating several scoring opportunities, the Eagles were unable to find the back of the net, thanks in large part to the heroics of the Rwandan goalkeeper.

This draw comes on the heels of their impressive 3-0 win against Benin Republic on Saturday, and while the team will be disappointed not to have picked up all three points, they can take heart from the fact that they have still amassed four points from their opening two games in the qualifying round.

Coach Austin Eguavoen’s side will be looking to bounce back from this frustrating result in their next outing, and will be eager to convert their chances into goals. The team’s profligacy in front of goal was a major concern, and they will need to work on their finishing if they are to achieve their goals in the competition.

Despite the draw, the Super Eagles remain in a strong position in their qualifying group, and will be looking to build on this foundation in their upcoming matches.

With their talent and determination, they are still very much in the hunt for a spot at the African Cup of Nations.
