16 Lives Lost In Ondo Road Accident

A horrific road accident on the Ondo-Ore Expressway in Ondo State, Nigeria, has claimed the lives of 16 people, leaving a trail of grief and devastation in its wake.

The tragic incident, which occurred on Tuesday night, involved a head-on collision between an 18-passenger Toyota Hiace bus and a truck, resulting in a fire that engulfed the bus and claimed the lives of 16 of its occupants.

The Ondo Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr. Ibitoye Samuel, has confirmed that overspeeding and wrongful overtaking were the primary causes of the accident.
