Hearn Backs ‘AJ’ To Knock Out Dubois In Style

Anthony Joshua’s journey to reclaim his heavyweight title takes a thrilling turn as he faces Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium on September 21. Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, believes “AJ” has what it takes to win in style.

“It’s a massive fight,” Hearn said.

“Both guys are in the form of their careers right now, the confidence of their careers. Dubois is a very dangerous opponent, but AJ’s looking sensational. I believe he knocks him out in style.”

With a four-fight winning streak under his belt, Joshua is determined to become a three-time heavyweight champion.

But Dubois, upgraded from interim to full IBF titleholder, is ready to put up a fierce fight.

“Absolutely,” Hearn said, when asked if the animosity between Joshua and Dubois would motivate his fighter.

“Joshua is always motivated, but when that happens, there’s just a little bit more spring in the step and spine cap. And this is a chance for AJ to become three-time world heavyweight champion on such a massive night.”
