Kebbi State LG Elections Holds August 31, 2024

The Kebbi State Independent Electoral Commission (KESIEC) has officially scheduled the upcoming local government chairmanship and councillorship elections for August 31, 2024. This critical announcement came through a statement from the commission’s headquarters based in Birnin Kebbi, underscoring the election of 21 local government chairmen and 225 councillors across Kebbi State.

KESIEC, under the leadership of its Chairman, Aliyu Muhammad Mera, has made available nomination forms along with contacts and essential documents related to the elections at the Secretariat in Birnin Kebbi. Significantly, this proactive dissemination of information reflects the commission’s commitment to ensuring that all prospective candidates and relevant parties are well-prepared for the electoral process.
