Lagos Gov. Commissions Flyover In Mushin Area

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has commissioned the Mushin Flyover, marking the completion of the five overpasses built along the Red Line Rail corridor.

The project, undertaken by the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority, aims to improve connectivity, reduce traffic congestion, and enhance public transportation in the state.

The Mushin Flyover, strategically located to connect Agege Motor Road from Onipanu, eliminates pedestrian and vehicular interference on the rail tracks, reducing the risk of accidents and collisions between trains and vehicles.

This infrastructure is expected to bring significant economic value to the area, improving the quality of life for residents.

With the completion of this project, the Sanwo-Olu administration has fulfilled its promise to residents, providing improved infrastructure and enhancing the overall transportation experience in Lagos.

The Governor emphasized the importance of protecting the infrastructure and encouraged residents to take ownership of the project.

This development is part of the state’s efforts to transform public transportation, following the opening of four other bridges in Yaba, Oyingbo, Ikeja, and Agege along the Lagos Rail Mass Transit Red Line.
