With slightly a month to the launch of the 2023 general election, the House of Representatives aspirant for Aniocha/ Oshimili civil constituency seat of Delta State, Anthony Onochie Ochei, popularly appertained to as ‘ Onochieobodo ’, has promised to mate with the civil government and patron agencies to push his legislative docket to consummation.
The aspiring civil legislator, who’s flying the banner of the New Nigeria Peoples Party( NNPP), stated this in a converse with intelligencers at the weekend.
“We want to reclaim the lost ground and strengthen women and youth in our communities. I promise to lead this action from the front to unleash our collaborative social capital, competitiveness, creativity and entrepreneurship of our people.
“ I’ll unite with crucial civil government agencies and patron agencies to drive this action from design to perpetration, ” assured Onochieobodo.

Anthony Onochie Ochei, who’s a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Practitioner and a pukka Professional Forensic Accountant, is a graduate of Account from the Polytechnic, Ibadan with MBA in Banking and Finance from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, who boasts of expansive experience in both private and public sectors further spoke of how his once engagements would rub off appreciatively on his legislative assignment if tagged.
“ In the course of my career, I’ve taken every occasion to engage and take the applicable assignments for the coming stage.
“ I did my National Youth Service Corps at the National Assembly as my place of primary assignment. Serving with the House Committee on Solid Minerals handed me with some precious takeaways. I’ve also consulted for colorful panels in the Senate and House of Representative since 2008.
“ I consulted on several crucial public assignments which handed me with good assignments about the structure of the public sector and how it can be reformed for bettered services to the citizens. Serving as internal adviser to the Honourable Minister for Agriculture and Water coffers from 2008 to 2010, and latterly as Special Assistant( Finance) to the Honourable Minister of Transport from 2011 to 2015 was a good medication time, ” Onochieobodo added.
Continuing, Anthony Ochei said, “ I led several public sounds of the National Assembly as crucial adviser which gives me an edge over other rivals in this race. Working with both the Administrative and council in colorful capacities places me shoulder high above others campaigners in this race.
“ I believe I ’m most set by every standard to represent the good people of Aniocha and Oshimili. The National Assembly is a familiar turf for me, hence I’ll hit the ground running from day one, ” said Onochieobodo.
While noting that republic is each about development, Onochieobodo called on the people of the constituency, particularly those of eligible voting age to reject other parties and place their stopgap in the NNPP, a party, he noted, is committed to the metamorphosis of Nigeria in all sectors of the frugality.
Should he crop victorious in the general choices, Onochieobodo will be representing four original government areas, comprising Aniocha South, Aniocha North, Oshimili South and Oshimili North in the House of Representatives in Abuja.
