Burna Boy Gets 2023 Grammys Nominations

Nigerian music icon, Burna Boy, has been nominated for the 2023 Recording Academy Awards, popularly known as the Grammys.

Apparently, the nomination list was released by the Academy on Tuesday, 25th November, 2022 as the award ceremony is set for February 5, 2023.

Making the list of nominations is Burna Boy’s latest album, Love, and Damini, was nominated in the Best Global Music Album category, alongside other albums from international music stars.

Heartedly, the singer was also nominated for Best Global Music Performance for his hit track, “Last Last.”

Also, Nigeria’s Tems also made an appearance on the nomination list as the Future’s “Wait For U”, for which he featured Tems and Drake, made it to the nominations for the Best Melodic Rap Performance category.
